And what have you been doing?

Well, here's the thing. Everything's going wonderfully. A lack of down time is making it really hard to maintain a blog, as much as I love having this bit of vanity to keep me going. I still make up blog entries in my head, and stuff, but once I get home from work it just seems like there's nothing to talk about.

But there is this:

After much deliberating, and a little arm twisting on behalf of the matriarchs in my family, (yes, our family is matriarchal) Cos and I have gotten married.

I had to wait to post this because we were trying to surprise BJ and Buddy, and it worked.

It was a wonderful little afair, with four of our closest friends and my little brother to attend us. Some people couldn't come, due to time constraints and distance and what have you, but it turned out to be a wonderful day nonetheless. You wouldn't believe what our friends were able to throw together in just one week. Talk about feeling loved!

We managed to find a little place in Niagara Falls called The Little Wedding Chapel and were married by exactly the man you want to hold the ceremony. In his late 60's, white hair, bearded, with a slight Irish accent. Later we took pictures in the gazebo, and people driving by honked their horns and yelled out congratulations. I seriously doubt it could have been a happier party.

We'll be holding a bigger (About 50 people) wedding at the end of next year, giving everyone time to recover from Teresa and Eric's jaunt to Jamaica (YAY!) and allowing all of our friends and family to hopefully get together yet more capital so they can come see us do it properly in New Orleans. A "big" party with all of our nearest and dearest, including but not exclusive to the rest of the SquareTable. We're all a-titter.

This has turned out to be a very exciting year for everyone. I'm so happy right now I can't even really put it into words.

Once Cos and I are able to occupy our own very special corner of the planet, everything will be set and perfect. As it is now, it's very near to perfect already and I'm content as a cat.

Purr...
